"Mumbai hides all its blemishes in the night"— Alok Karkera

*****Balls

Last week while I was on a gruelling business trip one of the members of the group on that trip sent me this:
-->
30 second Speech by Bryan Dyson (CEO of Coca Cola)
"Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them - Work, Family, Health, Friends and Spirit and you're keeping all of these in the Air.
You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four Balls - Family, Health, Friends and Spirit - are made of glass. If you drop one of these; they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for it."

A lot of us tend to focus on the least damagable part of our lives at the cost of all others which are very fragile. Even now many of us will read this, smile and then get back to the grind. At the least - the message is worth thinking about.
P.S. - I dont have the original source of this speech. I anyone does - please send across.

  1. “Many of the great achievements of the world were accomplished by tired and discouraged men who kept on working”. This words resembles that civilized humanity acknowledges strengthen of hard work. By this “tired and discourage men” reveals that we are unable to Strike Equilibrium between five balls as it is difficult task so we close the eyes to it.
    So it is that we all are in gutter but some of us are looking at stars.

    Thus we have to believe in this:
    “Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow“- Einstein
